Knowing your bride some time before the wedding does add a different kind of special. Especially when you know she is a sweet, caring person. It doesn't hurt that we share a love of animals. She is a very smart, independent woman, the kind we all hope our daughters will grow to be and she has found her perfect fit in the groom. I won't say the wedding wasn't challenging. Winter weddings have their own hurdles and we raced against the approaching darkness to get some portraits of the couple after the vows were spoken. Lighting is everything at a wedding and with the late afternoon sun and being somewhat in a valley I knew that my want of perfection was going to have to be compromised. After editing, I think we managed to get pictures that this couple will cherish!
